Sony Handycam HDR-FX1(E) - worlds first HDV 1080i camcorder

Hello guys, today i will talk about the Sony HDR-FX1(E) Handycam.
It is a camera with a bit of historical """"value"""", for being the first consumer HD capture device, capturing your birthday party at glorious 1440x1080 pixels with wonderful interlacing.
It's the consumer/"pro"sumer brother of the similar looking (and much more expensive) HVR-Z1P.

- 6mm 3CCD (1 sensor per color, no CMOS here) at 1440x1080
Lens:
- Carl Zeiss Vario-Sonnar T*
- permanently mounted
- Zoom/Focus by wire
- 2 ND Filters, switchable by a switch on the body
- F = 1.6 ~ 2.8
- 4.5 - 54 mm (3/16 - 2 1/4 in.) Focal length
Ports:
- i.Link / FireWire (the small one)
- custom proprietary Component output port
- S-Video
- Composite + Audio combo jack
